The walk along the railway path was particularly beautiful today now every thing has dried out and a lovely blue sky and its always mine and Flossies alone we never see another soul .
The Railway Path |
What made the walk along the path in the warm spring sunshine today was the delicious perfume from the Gorse flowers that are now covering the bushes. The perfume is of a flower coconut really heady.
Gorse bushes in bloom |

My painting of Juvenile owls
This is my latest painting which I painted for a friend ,I usually paint botanical subjects and this was totally new for me to paint birds as I had not painted anything for over a year it was a double challenge .I collected it from the framer this afternoon I think he made a really good job of it
Every year I plant Daffodils and Tulips in the greenhouse to
cheer me up in the dark days of winter and I have certainly neede them this
year with all the miserable wet weather .The Daffodils are just going over and
the Tulips are just starting. They do your heart good when the sun is shining
and the whole green house is filled with their lovely perfume

The Daily Walk
This is the walk Flossie and I try to do each day its 2 ½
miles in total. It is beautiful and ever changing, .
|
Part of it is the railway path that is along
side the
|
. The remainder is just the Road to Bodorgan Station
|
This is the stream that fed the old Mill race sadly the mill is now a ruin it was onceof the many mills that supplied flour for mainland Wales when Anglesey was called the bread basket of Wales |
There is always something interesting to see. Be it wild
geese grazing or the new lambs like this
particular family of three baby lambs and mum
or a buzzard resting in a tree always something new
