The walk April 10th

After the awful weather experienced by the rest of the country we gladly did not have  any snow ,The Anglesey fields were snow free while the mountains on the mainland were thick with snow

The warmer weather over the last few days has brought  a few dandelions into bloom ,I really feel spring has arrived when they bloom on mass the  also starting to fly this may even be one from my hives

There are hundreds of Lesser Celandine flowering at the sides of the road that makes up our walk their shining yellow flowers not unlike buttercups

Despite the hard winter we have had there are still plenty of berries on the ivy ,They mustn't have been to the birds liking. I suppose they will just fall off and germinate and grow into even more ivy

The walk along the railway path was particularly beautiful today now every thing has dried out and a lovely blue sky and its always mine and Flossies alone we never see another soul .

What made  the walk along the path in the warm spring sunshine today was the delicious perfume from the Gorse flowers that are now covering the bushes. The perfume is of a flower coconut really heady.

Even the trees now are just about to burst into leaf this hawthorn against the bright blue of the sky was so beautiful
